![]() Get some earphones on and become immersed in the battle with amazing war zone sound effects. ![]() Luscious jungle greens, incredible water effects, jaw-dropping explosions, intricately designed vehicles and turrets come together to make on of the best looking strategy games in years. Whether it’s placing turrets, analysing the enemy attack options, perfecting your strategy, looking for hidden targets, bombing the enemy from above, repairing units, or destroying an enemy outpost you’ll always have something to do. With so much to play for in iBomber Defense Pacific, you’ll never be bored. Building on the success of its predecessors, iBomber Defense Pacific has all-new tactics, all-new strategies, all-new Maps, all-new weapons, and all-new enemies. Feel like your right there and part of the incredible action as you use the new deep strategy options to protect your base. IBomber Defense Pacific takes tower defense to a whole new level. The iBomber series moves out to the Pacific as you fight a whole new enemy in an effort to secure territory on the Pacific Rim. ![]() The price is slightly on the higher side compared to the other iOS games out there – and will set you back by $2.99, but the quality here is undeniable, and if you can adjust to the controls and happen to be a fan of this genre, then this game will keep you occupied for a long time.IBomber Defense Pacific is the latest game in the hugely successful iBomber series. If you are a tower defense fan, then this game will give you everything you want and is a very competent iOS game. There are 22 locations here, so a lot of content is at your disposal. You can also upgrade the towers, and hey, what else did you expect from a tower defense game? There are a lot of towers here from AA guns to Flak cannons, and their placements depends how quickly you take down a wave. Trial and error happens here a lot, but it’s not that big deal. If you mess up – you can rewind the game and undo your mistake – and place the towers in proper locations. Some levels go up to 40 waves, but I didn’t really mind it because, it’s fun. You can repair the turrets, and some of the powerful enemies can dish out more damage, so you have to be on your toes. Of course, it’s not game breaking but it can get really annoying from time to time. Yep, and it takes the fun out of the game, when you mess up or the game doesn’t register your commands. I can’t wait to play this game on the new iPad and hopefully developers will patch this to support the new resolution. There are plenty of great looking levels here, and the entire game is set during World War II. The combination of two, can really whittle down an enemy wave. Machine guns are faster, but deal less damage, and cannons do the exact opposite. Once you clear levels, you can unlock new and powerful weaponry. It’s pretty straightforward early on in the game. ![]() How you place these defensive weaponry decides if you clear the level or not. The gameplay is pretty simple – you have to place defensive towers and survive a bunch of waves. iBomber Defense for the iPad is a pretty awesome game, but the main reason why I feel that way is because I adore tower defense games. Tower Defense games on the iOS? That’s a first.
